Governor vows to address gas supply issues

Says provision of two fire tenders was a long-standing demand of the association

KARACHI:

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has assured the business community that he will arrange a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan and federal ministers and advisers in a bid to resolve the gas supply issues faced by industries.

Inaugurating a newly established fire station at the SITE Association, he said that provision of two fire tenders was a long-standing demand of the association and rest of the industries of the SITE area.

“Through the Sindh Industrial Liaison Committee platform, we have addressed many issues of industries and successfully resolved them,” he said. He assured the business community of all-out support for addressing their issues, particularly those pertaining to the damaged infrastructure and dilapidated roads. On the occasion, SITE Association Patron-in-Chief Zubair Motiwala talked about unavailability of gas for the industries.
