PML-N, PML-Q faction to form alliance
The two parties agreed that the no candidate will be fielded against top leadership of PML-N in the next elections.

The Pakistan Muslim League-N and a Pakistan Muslim League like-minded-group have decided in principle to form an alliance against the government.
The decision was taken at a meeting held between leaders of the two sides at the residence of Saleem Saifullah in Islamabad. The like-minded-group is a breakaway faction of the PML-Q.
A PML-N delegation comprising Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Sartaj Aziz, Ishaq Dar met like-minded members Saleem Saifullah, Hamyun Akhtar and Ghaffur Qureshi to seek their support.
The two sides agreed that the like-minded group would not field any candidate against the top leadership of PML-N in the next elections.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, like-minded-Group members said that a joint strategy will soon be framed to solve all issues between the two parties.
