Given the law and order situation, the Rawalpindi city traffic Police (CTP) has decided to take action against vehicles without registration number plates and fake number plates.
In this regard, orders have been issued to all circles and sector in-charges of the district.
As a measure to protect the lives and property of people during Ramazan, Rawalpindi Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rai Mazhar Iqbal has issued orders to all DSPs and sector in-charges of the circle to take an action against vehicles with no number plate or using fake number plates.
He instructed the officials to take action against vehicles using police revolving lights. CTO ordered to carry out strict checking on all entrances and exits of the city.
He stressed that an FIR would be registered against those using fake registration plates instead of a challan.
