Unwell Maryam Nawaz gets tested for Covid-19 again
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President has fallen ill again, following which she has been tested for Covid-19 again, it emerged on Monday.
According to party sources, Maryam was suffering from severe throat pain when her doctors advised her to test for the virus once again.
The PML-N vice president currently awaiting the test report, the sources added. Meanwhile, the party's leader Ataullah Tarar said Maryam was undergoing treatment.
He added that the party vice president would participate in political activities once she feels better.

On April 2, Sharif family sources had stated that the PML-N leader was feeling better and doesn't have fever or throat pain.
Late last month, it emerged that Maryam and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman had postponed their political activities for a few days owing to their ill health.
The news of Maryam's ill health was confirmed by party spokesperson on Twitter, whereas the news of JUI-F chief's health was confirmed by his son.
In a tweet from the PML-N's official account, party spokesperson Marriyum Aurganzeb had said the PML-N leader had high fever and severe pain in her throat, and was hence, suspending her political activities for four days.
