The Baghdadi Police claimed on Saturday to have arrested a target killer wanted in multiple cases.
A squad under the Baghdadi Police Station SHO conducted a raid on the directives of City Zone SSP Sarfaraz Nawaz and arrested the suspect, Zakir Muhammad Younis.
SSP Nawaz said in a statement that Younis was involved in numerous incidents of target killing, robbery and street crime in various areas of the country, particularly Rawalpindi.
"He is nominated in at least 20 FIRs registered at various police stations in the country," the City Zone SSP said.
After each assassination, the suspect used to sell the weapon used in the killing in the black market, the police claimed.
Police claimed to have seized three 30 bore pistols with six magazines, 50 bullets and two mobile phones from Younis.
