The protesting government employees of Balochistan continued their sit-in near the red zone on the second consecutive day as negotiation between the government and their representatives failed.
The leaders of the grand alliance told the government officials during the negotiation that they would not abandon their protesting sit-in until issuing an official notification of a 25 per cent increase in their salaries is released apart from acceptance of other demands.
Thousands of government employees from all the 33 districts and Balochistan secretariat have set up their sit-in camps on the roads linking the governor and chief minister houses.
