RAWALPINDI:

The Rawalpindi Waste Management Company on Tuesday kicked off a cleanliness campaign against dengue and coronavirus in Rawalpindi and its suburbs.

During their door-to-door campaign on the first day, the residents and shopkeepers in Dhoke Kashmiryan locality of UC-23 were requested by the special teams to follow SOPs against the Covid-19 spread. The public was also requested not to burn waste, rather dump it in the trash containers or hand it over to the waste specialists or specially deputed sanitary staff of the companies.

Mosque clerics were requested to highlight precautionary measures against dengue fever and disseminate the message of cleanliness among the worshippers.
