Pak-Afghan border fence reducing terrorism: Langau

Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has said that the fencing along the Pak-Afghan border reduced terrorism incidents in the province.

He was chairing the fifth meeting on the fencing matter Killa Abdullah district’s Chaman city on Monday in the presence of senior officials to review the progress made on previously taken decisions. Deputy Commissioner Killa Abdullah, Commandant Chaman Scouts, presented a detailed report on the status of implementation of the fence project on the Pak-Afghan border.

The participants discussed various options pertaining to the project and the problems being faced in the progress made so far. Langau ordered timely completion of the public welfare project and to ensure prompt resolution of the problems faced by the people in this regard. The home minister directed the concerned authorities to complete the project on a priority basis and consider all available options for achieving the desired goal.

He laid emphasis on how the project was essential to further strengthen the law and order situation in the province. Langau also highlighted how implementation of the project is the most important need of the hour.
