Investment Promotion Forum: ‘Representation should be enhanced’

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Board of Investment (BOI) Saleem H Mandviwalla said that the representation of trade and industry in investment promotion forums should be enhanced, and his organisation is willing to partner with the trade body to promote foreign investment and commerce in the country. This was highlighted during a meeting of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Malik Sohail and Mandviwalla on Wednesday. Mandviwalla said that BOI in collaboration with FPCCI is holding a trade and investment conference in China during September 2011 and it would prove to be a useful instrument for BOI and FPCCI, as it reflects the views of a vast business community.
