Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal has said that the provincial government is trying to ensure that players from Balochistan make it to the national cricket team in the coming days.
Talking to the media along with former national cricket team captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, CM Kamal said that he was very grateful to Haq for visiting Quetta to promote sports and cricket in the largest province of the country.
“Inzamam-ul-Haq has been a hero of Pakistan,” he said, adding that efforts are being undertaken to promote cricket in Balochistan. He maintained that the development of Gwadar and Ayub Stadiums was a testimony of the provincial government’s commitment in promoting sports.
The chief minister also expressed pleasure over the fact that PSL matches were being scheduled to take place in Gwadar. He cited Quetta Gladiators as his favourite for the trophy and prayed that the team wins the PSL tournament. On the occasion, Inzamam-ul-Haq expressed pleasure on his visit to Balochistan and said that he has been to the province several times in the past. He praised Jam Kamal for his hard work for the betterment of sports and cricket in Balochistan.
