Victim’s body parts found stuffed in gunny bag

A woman was allegedly axed to death in Sahiyanwala area on Tuesday. Police said unidentified persons hit a woman with axes, cut her body into various pieces, put them in a sack and threw in Sam Nala.

Police took the body parts into their custody and launched an operation. According to the police report, a stand had been taken in the case registered by ASI Muhammad Maqsood, posted at Sahiyanwala police station, that he was on patrol in Chak No 131RB when Bilal Hussain, son of Hafeez, informed him that there was a white coloured plastic sack in a pond of fish farm square No 26.

The police checked the sack and found human body parts including the right foot, parts of both legs, one thigh and part of the other thigh, the right arm with the hands up to the elbow inside the sack. The head of victim is still missing.

Investigations revealed that unidentified assailants beat the woman with axes, cut her body into pieces and threw it into a drain, trying to cover up their crime. Sahiyanwala police registered a case under Section 302 and 201TP against unidentified killers and started searching for the killers and relatives of the deceased.

Sahiyanwala SHO Sub-inspector Asif Nadeem Butt said the assailant killed the woman with axes in a very reckless manner and to cover her identity, the body parts had been thrown in different places while the rest of the parts were being searched. The victim’s head, one leg and arm were not found.
