Quetta's Metropolitan Corporation employees have threatened to go on a hunger strike if their demands were not immediately met.
These views were expressed by Muhammad Anwar Damar, Chairman, Grand Employees Alliance Metropolitan Corporation Quetta, while addressing a press conference with officials of All Pakistan Clerks Association, Grand Employees Alliance Metropolitan at Quetta Press Club on Monday.
He highlighted how protests are being carried out for the last 28 days but the provincial government is not paying heed to it. “I have also sent a copy of my demands to the chief minister, chief secretary and the local government minister but did not receive any response.”
