680 health workers get anti-Covid jabs

ISLAMABAD:

At least 680 front line health workers have been administered coronavirus vaccine in Islamabad so far, according to documents seen by The Express Tribune on Sunday.

According to the document, 1,759 public healthcare workers have been registered for vaccination against the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) while at present 1,628 are waiting for the anti-virus shots.

As per the document, 30 out of 54 health workers registered for vaccination at CDA Hospital have been administered the injection. Out of 931 health workers registered for anti-Covid jabs at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences 272 have been vaccinated.

Similarly, among the 73 health workers registered for the vaccine at the Federal Government Services Hospital commonly known as Polyclinic, 41 have been inoculated.
