Officials at the Sihala police station checkpoint arrested a gang of motorcycle and car thieves and recovered a snatched car and three bikes from their possession, a spokesperson shared on Sunday.
Chowki In-Charge Sub-Inspector Ashfaq Bhandar and Head Constable Anjum Nisar conducted a successful operation and recovered a car stolen from a villager at gunpoint and arrested the escaped robbers identified as Danish, Muhammad Ali, Shahbaz and Anmol.
Police recovered a number of bikes, arms and cash from them. Sihala SHO Mirza Gulfraz said the suspects have confessed to several robberies in different areas.
