Cops recruitment ban to be lifted soon

A ban on recruitments of constables in Punjab Police may be lifted, as per official sources. In this regard, Punjab Home Department has reportedly sent a summary to the Committee for Finance and Business. The summary has proposed to lift ban on recruitment in Punjab Police on a permanent basis. Sources said a notification to allow recruitment would be issued after the summary is approved by the provincial cabinet.
