Two watchmen fired after black buck theft

PESHAWAR:

The Chief Conservator Wildlife has terminated two watchmen of the Wildlife Department in DI Khan from service after three rare black bucks were stolen from it on February 10.

Chief Conservator Wildlife Muhsin Farooq visited the Wildlife Park and Zoo in DI Khan where he was briefed about the incident. He was informed that despite the presence of watchmen and other officials, people entered the park and took away the animals after cutting the fence.

Both the watchmen are already in police custody and further investigations are underway to ascertain the truth.
