Motorways police to use drone cameras

The drone cameras will also help police to keep an eye on motorists for up to six kilometres

RAWALPINDI:

National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) has decided to use drone cameras for making surveillance of highways more effective. According to official sources, NHMP has already started trial use of drone cameras at selected points of motorways.

Besides security, the drone cameras will also help police to keep an eye on motorists for up to six kilometres to check if they are following traffic rules. The problems faced by the road-users could also be identified remotely through aerial surveillance and resolved at a better speed.
