A group of transgender persons allegedly subjected a typhoid vaccination team to torture after a conflict emerged between the two parties over administration of injection to a child in Tibbi City on Tuesday.
Police said two members of the vaccination team, Azeem and Haider, went to the residence of transgender person identified as Semi.
Reportedly, an argument ensued between the transgender persons and the vaccination team over the administration of anti-typhoid injection to a 10-years-old transgender Payal which quickly escalated.
The transgender persons allegedly battered the vaccination team due to which the latter filed a complaint with the police about the incident.
