On Thursday, an all parties conference, organised by Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) demanded that the Kashmir issue be taken up by the International Court of Justice.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, the parties called on the government to make “serious and sincere” efforts for liberating IIOJK from Indian brutality.

They also passed a resolution, calling on human rights organisations to play their role in supporting Kashmiris and support them in attaining independence.

Speaking on the occasion, Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi and Ali Hussain Naqvi of the MWM stressed the need for raising the Kashmir issue on all diplomatic and other relevant forums.
