Brad Pitt’s mother was ‘rooting’ for him to remarry Jennifer Aniston

Following his divorce from Angelina Jolie, Pitt and Aniston had a brief exchange at the SAG Awards last year

After reports of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston allegedly reconciling spread like grapevine last year, word has surfaced that Brad’s mother Jane wanted the two to remarry.

After Brad’s divorce from Angelina Jolie and his moving run-in with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, the world had hoped that the exes would reunite but that did not happen.

An insider told ET at the time that while the duo appreciated the love of their fans — and felt love for each other — getting back together was meant to be. The source went on to relay that Jen felt it would not be the right move.

But one of Jen’s “close friends” Courteney Cox "always thought they were soul mates and meant for each other.” Now, sharing similar sentiments is Brad’s mother Jane.

That’s right! National Enquirer recently reported that no one was more excited for their supposed reunion than Jane, and that she even wanted the duo to get remarried. "She was rooting for them to get married again. She loved Jen. They were all rooting for a reboot,” the source disclosed.

But the outlet also reported that unfortunately, following their brief exchange at the SAG Awards, they’ve not been in touch and are not reuniting.

If you didn’t know, Brad met the Friends actor in 1998 and married her in a private wedding ceremony in Malibu on July 29, 2000. In January 2005, Brad and Jennifer announced they had decided to separate. Two months later, Aniston filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
