The police investigation revealed that the deceased was alone in the house. The security camera footage showed that no one else was present in the house.
An official said it was possible that family problems including coronavirus infliction, brother's suicide and the murder of his niece might have caused the suicide with the victim pouring petrol on himself. According to sources, the body of Dr Mohib Saleem was handed over to the family after an autopsy was carried out under section 174 and the statement of the widow was recorded.
