3 brothers caught for robbing homes in burqas

Police said suspects Adil, Ahmed and Attique wore Burqas and posed as a married couple

LAHORE:

Faisal Town police have arrested three brothers who had allegedly robbed dozens of houses while disguised in Burqas to avoid detection.

According to Model Town SP Shehrbano Naqvi, the suspects were arrested by SHO Afzaal Rauf after a recent house robbery in Faisal Town, where they allegedly held family members hostage during the crime.

CCTV footage showed the suspects entering and fleeing the house after committing the offence.

Police said the suspects Adil, Ahmed and Attique wore Burqas and posed as a married couple.

Preliminary investigations suggest the gang had been involved in at least 47 incidents of theft, robbery and house burglaries in different areas.
