Eight DIGs transferred in another reshuffle

Just five days ago 15 SPs were transferred across Punjab

On Friday, Punjab Police went through another massive reshuffle as eight Deputy Inspector General (DIGs) including DIG Operations Lahore, RPO Multan and RPO Sahiwal has been reshuffled from their posts.

Ashfaq Ahmad Khan, currently serving as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations), Lahore has been transferred and posted as Regional Police Officer, Sargodha, Sajid Kiyani currently serving as Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Rawalpindi has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations), Lahore. Waseem Ahmad Khan (PSP/BS-20), Regional Police Officer, Multan has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, CTD Punjab, Lahore while Syed Khurram Ali (PSP/BS-20), Deputy Inspector General of Police, Headquarter, CPO, Punjab, Lahore, has been transferred and posted as Regional Police Officer Multan. Shahzada Sultan (PSP/ BS-20) Commandant, Police Training College, Lahore has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Headquarters, CPO, Punjab. Ahmed Jamalur Rehman (PSP/BS-20), awaiting posting in the Services and General Administration Department, Government of Punjab has been transferred and posted as Commandant Police Training College, Lahore. Tariq Abbas Qureshi (PSP/BS-20), Regional Police Officer, Sahiwal has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police, Technical Procurement, CPO. On January 25, at least 15 SPs were reshuffled across Punjab.

The transferred SPs included Muhammad Afzal who has been posted as SSP Operations Faisalabad, Lahore SP Security Sardar Mawaran Khan has been posted as Lahore SP Headquarters and Imran Ahmad Malik has been posted as SP Security Lahore.
