Karachi unrest: Lyari grenade attack injures 3

At least three people, including a local PPP leader Zafar Baloch, were reportedly injured when armed men hurled a hand grenade in Lyari late Tuesday.
At least two attackers, believed to be members of the Ghaffar Zikri gangster group, riding a motorcycle threw a hand-grenade near the office of the defunct Peoples Amn Committee in Lyari’s Gul Mohammad Lane. Kalakot Police Station SHO Babar Hameed confirmed that Baloch, was among those injured.
He said rival group Ghaffar Zikri might have been responsible for the attack. The injured were taken to Lyari General Hospital. Intense firing was reported in parts of Lyari following the incident as rival groups clashed.
