LDA cuts fee for educational activities

LDA launched a policy to facilitate educational institutions to pay commercialisation fee in installments

LAHORE:

Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Vice Chairman S M Imran has said that LDA has introduced a commercialisation policy with an aim to encourage educational activities in the cities.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, he stated that the commercialisation fee for conversion of residential plots for educational purposes has been halved for setting up educational institutions on such plots.

He said that following the policy of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, LDA launched a policy to facilitate educational institutions to pay commercialisation fee in installments.
