Sindh reports 12 more Covid deaths

Another 12 coronavirus deaths were reported in Sindh on Thursday, when 716 new Covid-19 cases were detected in the province, according to a statement issued by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.

The CM said that following these developments, the total number of coronavirus-related casualties in Sindh had climbed to 3,855, and the Covid-19 tally to 239,186.

Moreover, the CM said, 775 more Covid-19 patients had recuperated, raising the number of total recoveries in the province to 216,920.

He said currently, 18,411 Covid-19 patients were under treatment in Sindh, of whom 17,434 were in home isolation, 13 in isolation centres and 964 in hospitals. Among them, the CM said, 877 were critically ill, with 89 on ventilators.
