Reema Khan gets first dose of Covid-19 vaccine
Pakistani actor Reema Khan has received her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the US. The famous star, who resides in the country ever since she got married, shared the update on her social media. Taking to Instagram, Khan uploaded a video of herself getting the first shot of the vaccine. “I’m fine," the actor can be heard saying in the video. “Finally got the first Covid-19 vaccine dose,” she captioned the post.
Khan, in a video previously, revealed that she will be getting the first shot of the coronavirus vaccine soon. The Lollywood veteran had posted a video before getting the shot and said, "Today, I will be getting the first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine."
She then pointed at the vaccination centre and added, "This is very important. Everyone should get vaccinated soon. I'm praying Pakistan gets vaccines soon. Please get vaccinated - for yourself and your loved ones."
Commenting on her post, actor Imran Abbas praised Khan for paving the way and getting the vaccine, calling her a “pioneer.” The Dil-e-Muztar star said, "You are the first and a pioneer in so many ways. Stay safe, healthy and gorgeous."
Khan lives in Washington DC with her husband Dr Tariq Shahab and son Ali Shahab.
