RAWALPINDI:

The 15-year-old boy wanted for the murders of his two older siblings was found dead by the police in Rawalpindi hours after the killings were reported.

Ahsan was reported to have shot his older brother and sister to death, and seriously injured his mother at their home on Saturday night in the Kori Dolal area of Mundra police station.

The police said it appeared the teenager had committed suicide after killing his family members, but said all theories were inconclusive at the point as further investigations were pending.

The deceased brother was identified as 24-year-old Hassan Zeb and the sister as 18-year-old Asma Aurangzeb. The injured mother was identified as Naseeran Bibi.

The injured mother as well as the bodies of the deceased were shifted to a hospital for treatment and autopsy respectively after a forensic team collected evidence from the crime scene.

Meanwhile, various rumors started doing the rounds in the area following the incident, claiming Ahsan killed his family members as they strictly advised him to not play games and instead focus on his studies.

SHO Mundra Yasir Mahmood Abbasi had earlier said the accused was a ninth class student and apparently committed these crimes owing to a domestic disagreement.
