Adviser to Punjab Chief Minister on Agriculture Abdul Hayee Dasti has said the incumbent government was taking various steps for uplifting the agriculture sector.
“The purpose of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led government is to help the poor people especially small growers so that they can prosper and resolve their problems.” He expressed these views while addressing a seminar held at Rohilanwali for sunflower crop importance on Friday.
The CM’s adviser further said that more than Rs300 billion were spent on the agriculture sector last year while a significant amount was also earmarked for this year.
The advisor shared that the South Punjab Secretariat will be made fully functional from next month.
