Virushka shower paparazzi with presents in hopes newborn's privacy is respected

Actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli became proud parents of a baby girl on January 11, 2021. It has been three days since their little one’s arrival and the star child has already taken social media by storm.

On Wednesday, the power couple issued a statement on Instagram, requesting privacy for their daughter while their fans remained restless for a picture of the little one.

But along with the statement, the couple has now also sent out thoughtful luxury hampers, full of goodies for the various paparazzi teams in Mumbai in hopes their wishes would be respected, reported the Hindustan Times. Popular paparazzi photographer Viral Bhayani took to Instagram to reveal what the hamper included.

Along with a personalised note addressed to him and his team, the gift hamper had flavoured dry fruits, a bar of dark chocolate, fusion mithai and a scented candle. It arrived in big wooden boxes and was all things fancy and aesthetic.

Anushka and Virat's sentiments were then reiterated by their fans, who could relate to the couple's need for privacy. Bhayani also revealed the celebrity duo did not wish for the media to cover their daughter until she has matured. 

"We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support. While we will always ensure that you get all the content you need us featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child."

Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon, too, thanked the paparazzi for paying heed to her request and commented, "Totally agree with that sentiment and kudos to all our photographers for always respecting people’s wishes. You guys would always keep my request too when I didn’t want you all to click my children’s pictures when they were younger , and I take this opportunity to thank you for being kind enough."
