Man booked for triple murder in Kharianwala
City Juranwala police registered a case against a man for poisoning his wife and two daughters on Wednesday. The incident had reportedly happened three years ago and the complainant alleged that she refrained from registering an FIR with the police owing to continuous pressure of reconciliation from the suspect.
The complainant Safia Bibi, a resident of Chak No 105 GB, said that the suspect, Farhan Ali, was married to her niece Reema Bibi in 2013.
She said that shortly after the marriage, a domestic dispute broke out between the couple and Reema Bibi, went to her aunt's house in Okara. Later, the matter was resolved and she returned to her husband's house.
“On November 4 2017, Reema Bibi and her two daughters Darisha and Haram Fatima were forced to drink poisoned juice by her husband Farhan Ali, father-in-law Bashir and mother-in-law Suraiya Bibi,” she claimed.
“As a result, their health deteriorated and the three of them passed away before they reached the hospital,” she alleged, adding that the victim told her about the poisoning on her way to the hospital.
She further said that all the three victims were then buried inside her residence and the suspects have been forcing the complainant since then to reconcile and not report the triple murder.
