Langau lauds LEAs for foiling attacks

A high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau on the overall law and order situation in the province.

The main issue on the cards pertained to kidnapping and how to bring a halt to it.

National Party Provincial President and Provincial Parliamentary Leader Asghar Khan Achakzai, Member Provincial Assembly Shahina Kakar, Additional Chief Secretary Hafiz Abdul Basit, IG Police Mohsin Hassan Butt, Commissioner Quetta Division Asfandyar Kakar, CCPO Quetta Muhammad Azhar Ikram and other concerned officials attended the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, the home minister said that steps were being taken under an integrated strategy to maintain law and order in the province and protect the lives and property of the people using all the available resources.

He lauded the efforts of law enforcement agencies for thwarting many attacks aimed to destabalise the peace.
