‘Ertuğrul’ star Celal Al adores Islamabad
Abdur Rehman Alp on-screen, Turkish actor Celal Al has won many hearts in Pakistan with his role of a valiant warrior on Ertuğrul, distinct in his actions and thoughts. Just recently, the famed star announced his arrival in Islamabad and admired its beauty from his window. He is in town for a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan, federal ministers and actors from our very own industry such as Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddique and Imran Abbas.
Al was impressed by the generosity that greeted him in the capital. "Islamabad, you are a beautiful city." He concluded his post with the hashtag "PakTurkZindabad." Further into the evening the Turkish actor was welcomed by local tabla and rabab maestros who played the theme song of Diriliş: Ertuğrul for him in a desi style.
Al was a part of Turkish delegation that met PM Khan in a meeting where the premier counselled the country’s film and drama diligence to come up with an eminent and local production to deliver the youth with a welcoming Ertuğrul-like substitute to watch and learn from.
