Domestic workers ‘flee with gold’
Gold worth hundreds and thousands of rupees was stolen, allegedly by domestic workers, from a house in Gulistan-e-Johar on Thursday.
The owner of the house, Shahab told the police that he had hired two domestic workers, Humera and Sumera, who were sisters, to help his house help.
Shahab added that the sisters stole 10 sets of jewellery, 10 gold and five diamond rings, a gold chain and a pendant. He claimed that the female members of his family had tried to stop them, but they pushed them away and escaped.
