Trade delegation to explore new markets

The scope of trade expansion to be discussed.

LAHORE:
A high level delegation of Pakistani exporters will visit Sudan, Congo and Saudi Arabia in the current month to study further expansion of export and import among these countries.

Leader of delegation, Mian Muhammad Saeed Deraywalay said on Tuesday that we will first visit Sudan and ink a number of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with the private sector and hold marathon meetings with their business leaders.

He said that the scope of further expansion of economic activities and trade will also be discussed at length. Deraywalay said that four MoUs will be signed with importers of Congo. On the last leg of visit, we will visit Jeddah and enter into dialogue with Saudi business magnates and tycoons, he added.

He said if the government fully supports Pakistani exporters, they can earn billions of dollars of foreign exchange. He added that all industrial units engaged in manufacturing export products must be exempted from power outages, besides controlling the abrupt increase in power prices.
