Pakistan High Commissioner to Canada Raza Bashir Tarar assured that people of both countries would avail ease in travelling soon and the bilateral trade between the two nations would grow faster in the upcoming days.

“The country enjoys amicable relations with Canada as the Pakistani expatriates in the country have played a significant role in establishing the ties,” said Tarar in a communique issued on Sunday.

He maintained the talks held with the Canadian government on the matter would yield positive results.

The envoy maintained the home country is safe for investment and is open for business and investment opportunities as Pakistan offers ease in doing business on a large scale.

“Pakistan has become a centre of business activities with the opening of the Gwadar port, which will benefit Canadian companies,” said the senior diplomat, adding the North American country could supply products across the region while doing business in Pakistan.

He noted the Pakistan High Commission and its consulates are ready to offer every possible facility and guidance to Canadians to achieve the objective.
