‘Cooperation key to serving people’

Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elahi stated that the government as well as the opposition would have to play their role to resolve the people’s problems.

“Cooperation is key to overcome issues and accelerate economic activities.”

He expressed these views during a meeting with Punjab Minister for Mines and Minerals Hafiz Ammar Yasir on Sunday.

The minister added that the minerals department had issued cement licences to 16 companies. “Investment of Rs560 billion is expected to be made in Punjab through issuance of cement licenses.”
