ISLAMABAD:

The economic reforms process initiated by the government was quite slow and as a result, the momentum of recovery of business and economic activities was way below the desired level, said Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Acting President Fatma Azim.

Talking to a delegation of local industrialists on Saturday, she stressed upon the government to enhance the pace of reforms process to steer an environment conducive for better growth of business activities.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan has already announced that 2021 would be the year of economic growth for Pakistan and this goal can only be achieved by prioritising the reforms process,” she said.
