‘Harry Potter’ cast in talks for new film
Nearly a decade after the release of the last Harry Potter film, Warner Bros has decided to reunite our favourite on-screen
wizards one more time. It is safe to say that the cast of the popular filming franchise – namely Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliff, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton – will be returning to the screen as Hermione, Harry, Ron and Draco respectively, reported We Got This Covered.
JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, ended the sequence in 2011. But even then, fans kept asking for more from the wizarding world of Harry and co, which is probably why the film-makers have decided on the reunion, despite Rowling not backing it. Potterheads have been acing for something from the series’ original trio for quite some time so they could return to Hogwarts once again.
And the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has spurred the demand for Harry Potter books even more. This is based on intel from insider Daniel Richtman, who shared the scoop on his Patreon page.
Now, apparently, Radcliffe and the rest of the main cast have been talking to the film-makers for some time but the ongoing pandemic has put things on the back burner. Fingers crossed we get to see Harry, Hermione and Ron together sometime soon.
