Naimal Khawar Abbasi is an icon when it comes to festive desi wear. Over the past few days, the former actor has been serving one strikingly gorgeous look after the other at her younger sister Fiza’s wedding.

Known for her simplistic style, Naimal made a statement this month with several designs she showcased throughout the mayoun, dholki, mehndi, baraat and valima event. In fact, it seems like a flair for fashion runs in the Khawar family as the bride also looked doll-like at all of her events.

Hamza Ali Abbasi being no less of a style guru, joined his wife in a casual, plain black shalwar kameez paired with a black shawl, looking handsome as ever and proving that less can, indeed, be more. But Naimal stole the show. Here are the looks she carried ever so flawlessly.

Mayoun

Naimal was seen in a mustard draped sari embossed with flora and paisleys, an avant-garde piece for a winter evening event. She paired the classic-yet-vibrant piece with a crimson lip colour and sleek hair and completed the minimalistic look with a traditional choker.

Dholki

The starlet wore a traditional piece from SFK bridals for this event. Naimal carried a black velour ensemble with a block printed polka dot dupatta and lehenga. The design featured detailed gota-worked sleeves and neckline. She paired it with a heavy teeka, long earrings and minimalistic makeup.

Mehndi

The Verna star stunned in a flowy detailed maroon velvet pishwas at Fiza’s mehndi. The dress featured traditional sequins, patterns and embellishments. Naimal’s Mohsin Naveed Ranjha creation was complimented by soft evening makeup.

Baraat

Naimal was seen in a vibrant turquoise lehenga, a classic Nomi Ansari number, that featured parrot green blouse and some colourful embroidery on the hem. With lightly curled hair and traditional jewellery, she carried crimson nail paint that amped up the entire look.

Valima

To round off the wedding, the Pakistani beauty was seen in a flowy Faiza Saqlain piece. The blue floor-length dress was embellished with classic embroidery, marodi hand work and sparkly sequins that complimented the pastel blue dress as well as the timely-gorgeous actor. Naimal paired the look with simple choker necklace and lightly styled hair.
