Farhan Ali Agha is the latest celeb to join PTI

Actor emphasises need for trustworthy people at forefront, vowing to play his part to make Pakistan a better place

Pakistani veteran star Farhan Ali Agha has announced he is officially joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Agha, who rose to fame in the 90s with his stellar performances, is the latest celeb to join PTI.

According to Express PK, the actor spoke to the press, saying, "I would like to thank PTI and Imran Khan for this opportunity, and would like to officially announce that I have decided to join PTI under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan."

The star went on to add that he understands Pakistan is going through trying times and he wishes to contribute, playing his part to make it a better place.

"Pakistan is struggling through trying yet progressive times. Our country, we were born here. Fame, name, respect, we got it all from the same country. I've joined this cause because Pakistan needs honest and trustworthy people to come forth so that Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's dream can be completed. A country where common people can get justice," he added.

Belonging to a family with a background related to the armed forces, Agha went on, "I've grown up listening to tales of love for the country. And when I hear the premier share the harmful agenda few might have against our beloved country, I wish that people, who love the nation, would play their part and help work on the cause to make this country a better place."
