Second wave of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) is rampaging through the district

HARIPUR:

After 40 new Covid-19 cases were confirmed in the district, the Haripur deputy commissioner on Wednesday imposed micro lockdown at 17 spots.

A notification issued on Wednesday said that the second wave of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) is rampaging through the district with 40 new cases confirmed in a day.

Given the high positivity ratio, smart lockdowns were imposed in Mohala Kaliyan, Banda Muner Khan, Sarai Nimat Khan, Bandi Mian Pirdad, Moh Saydan, Hattar Upper, Moh Masjid Rehman near Camp no 16, Sector-3 Abbassi, Sector 1 Khalabat, Moh Saddat, Mankaia Moh Piryan Wala, Iqbal Choke, Haripur Kund near FEF, college Moh Awaran and Ghazi.
