Portable washrooms installed in capital’s parks

As part of its project to upgrade parks and public places in the federal capital, the apex civic agency of the city has set up portable washrooms in parks apart from other civil works.

An official of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Saturday said that the authority is focusing on uplifting more than 50 large and small parks of the city, including the Sector F-9 Park, and others in sectors I-8, I-9, I-10, G-9, G-10, and G-11.

Some of the tenders have been opened while work in a few parks has started. Work includes repairing swings, walking tracks, and green belts. CDA's environment department will complete work on the restoration of fountains soon.
