HYDERABAD:

As the tug of war continues between Hyderabad's authorities and traders over shifting from the old vegetable and fruit market to the newer one, the Sindh High Court assigned the matter's inquiry to the court's additional registrar on Friday.

The Hyderabad circuit bench ordered him to inspect the New Sabzi Mandi near Hala Naka and submit a report on the market's facilities.

The district administration has tried to compel traders to make the move from the old market, but to no avail. The traders point to infrastructure and multiple allotments as the issues preventing the move.
