‘Encounter’ suspect died of pressure on heart, liver
Muhammad Abbas killed in Defence Phase 4 in an alleged encounter
The preliminary post-mortem report of a man allegedly killed in a police encounter two weeks ago indicates that he died due to pressure on his heart and liver.
Muhammad Abbas, who worked as a driver for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Laila Parveen, was killed in Defence Phase IV in an alleged encounter.
His autopsy was conducted at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre under the supervision of a magistrate. The chemical examination report is still awaited to determine the actual cause of death.
