Engin Altan Düzyatan arrives in Pakistan for short visit

'Diriliş: Ertuğrul' actor reached Lahore Thursday morning

Entertainment Desk December 10, 2020

It was earlier reported that the Diriliş: Ertuğrul famed Turkish actor Engin Altan Duzyatan would be inaugurating a mosque in Lahore after signing an agreement with a private housing society.

Now, the PakTurkey Twitter has announced that Duzyatan has in fact, landed in Lahore for a short visit to Pakistan.

"#ErtugrulGazi (Diriliş Ertuğrul) lead actor Mr. Engin Altan Düzyatan just landed at Lahore Airport for a short visit to Pakistan at the invitation of a private business company. Join us to welcome him," read the tweet.

However, the purpose of his visit has not been confirmed yet.

Duzyatan, who plays the role of Ertuğrul in the serial – after virtually meeting with a few celebrities and differently-abled children of Pakistan – announced that he was ready to visit the country personally.

The actor has set new precedents of fame through the Turkish serial inspired by the history of the Ottoman Empire. And it seems his fans can see him up and close now.
