Stage actress injured in armed attack

LAHORE:

A stage actress was shot and injured in the provincial capital on Wednesday.

Iqra. She was shot at and left injured in Sabzazar area when she left her house on a motorcycle with her cousin Samran Shahzad.

On her way, she was intercepted by three suspects they shot at her and fled from the scene. She was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victim received bullet injury in leg and her condition was stated to be stable.

A police team reached the spot on information, collected forensic evidence from crime scene and recorded statements of the eye-witnesses.
