District administration of Multan sealed seven shops and imposed fines on several others over coronavirus preventive standard operating procedures (SOPs) violations during the last 24 hours.
In line with directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Aamir Khattak, the officers imposed Rs10,000 fine on those found guilty of defying the law.
The price control magistrates of the district also conducted raids to ensure the implementation of SOPs. During raids at different locations, they checked 175 shops and found seven violating the guidelines. The businesses were sealed by the magistrates.
