New system for courts, jails being introduced: Fawad

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday announced that the government was introducing a cutting-edge system for the courts and jails which would save the judges and inmates from the hassle of travelling.
Addressing a ceremony in the federal capital, Fawad laid emphasis on science, technology and wit for the country to progress and declared that the nation cannot move forward with the Pakistan Democratic Movement rallies.
He maintained that the government had planned a new system which would save the judges and prisoners from the hassle of travelling for the hearing of cases.
Speaking about the future, the minister observed that the jobs of doctors, drivers, teachers and mechanics would be abolished and instead technology will take their place.
He said in the next 15 to 20 years, the momentum would be shifted to electricity-powered vehicles and added that 5G would revolutionise the world after which, “a surgery could be conducted in Lahore after [a physician is] sitting in Washington”.
Fawad urged the people to keep themselves abreast with the latest innovations saying that the technology was changing so fast that nobody knew which jobs would be available in future.
