Mother jumps in well with three daughters
The three girls died while the mother survived
ISLAMABAD:
A mother of three attempted suicide by throwing her three minor daughters and then jumping into a well herself allegedly over a domestic dispute in the Galayana Mor Dalmi neighbourhood of Gujjar Khan on Saturday.
The three girls died while the mother survived and was rescued, Rescue 1122 officials said.
Gujjar Khan police have booked her on behalf of the state. Quoting neighbours, the police said 30-year-old Sonia, fought with her husband, Gulfaraz, on paying fees of their eldest daughter.
The disgruntled wife first threw her five-year old daughter in the well, then her three-year old and finally a six-month-old baby and then jumped in too.
